Every cup has a journey behind it. In this class, we trace coffee from its origins to the farms of Colombia to your morning mug, covering how it's grown, harvested, processed, and roasted along the way. You'll hear how our family's roots in Colombia shaped The Colombian, and why the relationships behind our coffee matter so much to us.
We'll taste as we go, connecting each step of the story to what ends up in your cup. It's a warm, conversational morning for anyone who wants to understand coffee more deeply. One or two lucky guests will also win coffee to take home.
What You'll Learn
You'll learn coffee's journey from seed to cup: its origins, how it's cultivated and harvested, the main processing methods (washed, natural, and honey), and how roasting develops flavour. You'll hear what makes Colombian coffee distinctive and how The Colombian's family story connects to the coffee we serve. You'll also learn how each stage of the journey shows up in your cup.
