We’re always looking to build relationships that align with us. We're excited to be working with Jailer Andrés Trujillo and his family for the very first time.
Jailer is a second-generation coffee grower in Colombia whose story instantly resonated with us. His father began farming on a small 1.5-hectare plot he named La Esperanza — “Hope” — a name that still carries weight on the farm today. Since then, Jailer has expanded the land to over 10 hectares, where he, his wife Ingrid, and their sons, Julián and Diego, grow beautiful varieties like Gesha, Castillo, and Colombia F8 — all under the values of tradition, resilience, and family.
What really stood out to us is Jailer’s commitment to natural processing, which is always more risky than processing a natural. When he began drying whole cherries in 2017, many called it a mistake. But he stuck with it. By 2018, his coffee was gaining attention internationally — and now, we get to experience his efforts.
This delicious natural processed coffee is great hot, iced, and is a clean, fruity, option for spring.
